£1050 raised for local Aberdeen charities

We are very pleased to report that our recent Aberdeen Lego show Brick o’ Deen raised £1050 for local charities.

After storm delays previously, Brick o’ Deen 2023 took place last weekend (27.01.24), with a busy day full of excellent displays, enthused visitors, and most exciting of all, a weekend, finally, with some dry weather! We are incredibly thankful to everyone’s patience, for sticking with us, and for making the day a huge success.

Tartan LUG are pleased to announce the show made £1050 in proceeds, with £525 now going to the show’s two local charities, Instant Neighbour and Aberdeen Cyrenians respectively.

The committee would like to thank event organiser and LUG member Alison Clayton, for all her hard work, and to the volunteers that helped tirelessly on the day.

Local charities

Instant Neighbour supports people on low incomes to set up home, by providing access to low-cost reuse furniture, white goods, clothing and bric a brac.

Aberdeen Cyrenians provides care and support for vulnerable people and anyone experiencing homelessness or at risk of losing their home through poverty, crisis, abuse, mental ill-health or addiction.
